Cetys Universidad was founded in 1961 by a group of entrepreneurs in the city of Mexicali.
Undergraduate programmes are offered in engineering, business administration and social sciences and humanities. Graduate programmes are offered in business administration, engineering, social sciences and humanities, law, education and psychology.
The university has many facilities and resources, including well-equipped laboratories, libraries, and digital resources.
Cetys has several partnerships with academic institutions around the world such as the University of Arizona (US), the University of Granada (Spain), and Yangzhou University (China) among many others.
The university emphasises experiential learning, utilising practical, hands-on experience within classrooms.
Students can also become involved with the local community as there are several community outreach and service programmes.
