一、茶陵医学院历史沿革
1958年（湖南）茶陵医学院成立
1959年，茶陵医学院撤销，改为中等职业学校。
2.湖北文理学院（襄樊学院）历史沿革
1998年，襄阳师范学院、襄樊职业大学、襄樊教育学院合并升格为襄樊学院。
襄樊职业大学见湖北：《襄樊职业大学的沿革》 襄阳师范学院见湖北：《襄阳师范专科学校-.沿革》 襄樊教育学院见湖北： 《襄樊教育学院的沿革》 2000年湖北省工艺美术学校并入襄樊学院
1979年，襄樊艺术学校成立。 1995年，襄樊艺术学校更名为湖北省工艺美术学校。 2010年，襄樊市中心医院并入襄樊学院。
2010年，襄樊学院（附中）划转市教育局，独立运行。
2011年，襄樊学院更名为湖北文理学院。
三、襄樊教育学院历史沿革
襄樊农业大学成立
1971年，襄樊农业大学（资源）改制为襄樊师范学校……1977年，襄樊农业大学停办。 1981年，襄樊市教师进修学校升格为襄樊师范学院。 1981年，襄樊通信站并入襄樊师范学院。 1983年，襄阳区师范学院成立。
1984年，襄樊师范学院与襄阳地区师范学院合并，组建襄樊师范学院。
1987年，襄樊师范学院更名为襄樊教育学院。
1998年，襄樊教育学院撤销，参与合并组建襄樊学院，现更名为湖北文理学院。
4. 襄阳师范学院（襄阳更都学院）历史沿革
襄阳师范学校始建于1905年
1913年，襄阳师范学校更名为湖北第二师范学校。
1926年湖北省第二师范学校停办
1928年，湖北省立第二师范学校与湖北省立第十中学恢复合并，成立湖北省立第五中学。
1902年，创办襄阳府中学。 1912年，襄阳府中学更名为湖北省立区第七鹿门中学。 1924年，湖北省立第七区鹿门中学更名为湖北省立第十中学。 1926年，湖北省立第十中学停办。湖北省第五中学（师范部）改制为襄阳师范学校
1948年，襄阳师范学校与湖北省立第五高级中学合并，成立襄阳联合中学。
湖北省五中是一所独立学校。 1938年，湖北省立第五中学改制为湖北省立联合中学（郧县分校）。 1942年，湖北省立联合中学（郧县分校）改制为湖北省立第五高中襄阳分校。联合中学（师范部）改制为襄阳师范学校
襄阳联合中学是一所独立学校，现发展为襄樊市五中。 1958年，襄阳师范学校升格为襄阳师范专科学校。
1962年，襄阳师范专科学校改制为襄阳师范学校。
1970年，襄阳师范学校、襄阳县更都师范学校、襄阳更都学院合并成立襄阳区师范学校。
1965年，襄阳更都学院成立。 1967年，随县红山共产主义劳动大学并入襄阳更都学院。 1970年，撤销襄阳更都大学……1970年，撤销襄阳更都大学。学校（医学类）并入湖北省襄阳卫生学校。稍后请参阅湖北：《襄阳医学院沿革》。 1975年，襄阳师范学校（高等师范学校）成立（合着）
1978年，襄阳师范学校（高等师范学校）与武汉大学（襄阳分校）合并组建襄阳师范专科学校。
1966年，武汉大学（襄阳分校）成立。 1993年，襄阳师范学院更名为襄阳师范学院。
襄樊区师范学校独立办学，现发展为襄樊职业技术学院。 1998年，襄阳师范学院撤销，参与合并组建襄樊学院，现更名为湖北文理学院。
