记者近日从海南热带海洋大学获悉，在学校即将庆祝建校70周年之际，该校穆军教授在海洋微塑料生物降解技术方面取得重要突破，筛选培养新型海洋微塑料降解菌玫瑰色细菌的性能超过了迄今为止报道的海洋微生物降解微塑料细菌的能力。其应用培养方法和塑料降解方法已获得中国、美国、加拿大等国家多项发明专利授权。
海南热带海洋大学持续深耕现代海洋牧场、南方水产品繁殖、海洋测绘与观测、深海装备、海洋可再生能源、海底资源开发利用与保护等领域，积极服务国家战略海洋强国和自由贸易港建设。取得了丰硕的科研成果。其中，穆军教授是基于海南自由贸易港和国家生态文明试验区的建设需要。针对日益严重的海洋微塑料污染问题，穆军教授在海洋微塑料分布监测、生态风险、毒理效应及生物降解修复等方面开展了系统研究。一系列可降解海洋微塑料的菌群已被筛选和培养。用于降解海洋微塑料的微生物原位降解修复方法具有成本低、效率高、环境友好的特点。
近年来，海南热带海洋大学坚定不移走“人才强校”的发展道路，大力推动教育、科技、人才融合发展。目前，学校拥有部、省级科研平台30个，其中院士工作站（院士团队创新中心）4个，国家级水产检测点6个，省部级重点实验室6个，省级工程研究中心（工程技术研究中心）。 ）4；拥有经科技部、教育部批准的国家大学科技园1个；省部级科研基地（交流平台）9个；立项海洋卫星遥感创新发展、水产南繁种业创新等10个海南省“海南省”项目。 “双百”人才队伍。此外，学校于2021年成立崖州湾创新研究院，与进驻崖州湾科技城的高校、科研单位融合发展。 2024年1月，崖州湾创新研究院获批成为海南省科技成果转化赋能试点单位。同年9月获批建立海南省博士后创新实践基地。 （通讯员卓卓、记者王晓武、编辑邹宇）
